In February, the former European heavyweight champion Derek Chisora (32-9, 23 KOs) will hold his next professional bout. This was stated by Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing. The fight of the 35-year-old Briton should become the main event of the boxing evening in Manchester.

Hearn said that Chisora had a good chance to fight former undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs). For the Ukrainian it would be the first real test in the heavyweight division. At the same time, it is possible that WBO world title will be at stake in this fight.

Former world heavyweight Joseph Parker (26-2, 20 KOs) is another candidate for a meeting with Chisora. The duel of these boxers had to take place in October, but the New Zealander was forced to withdraw from the fight for health reasons. Parker was replaced by David Price, who lost by knockout in the fourth round.
