Rydell Booker, who last Saturday lost on points to Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs), does not give his former opponent a chance in the battle with the winner of the confrontation between Anthony Joshua (22-1, 21 KOs) and Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-1 , 22 KOs).
"Pulev not defeat any of them. If you look at our bout, you will see that I gave him the fight. He fought like a robot, he kept repeating the same thing again and again. If I was in shape, I would have knocked him out without any problems. He did not defeat Joshua or Ruiz," Booker said.
Pulev is IBF mandatory challenger for many months now, and will closely watch the fight on December 7 between Joshua and Ruiz. According to the decision of the International Boxing Federation, after the December meeting if the winner wants to keep the title in the next fight he has to meet the Bulgarian.
In case of Ruiz victory there's possible scenario when the Mexican would leave IBF belt vacant and choose the WBO title defense against Oleksandr Usyk. Thus Pulev may contest the vacant title with a fighter from the highest of the rankings.
