This August the former welterweight champion Jeff Horn (19-2-1, 13 KOs) suffered an unexpected defeat at the hands of Michael Zerafa (27-3, 16 KOs), but before the end of the year he will get a chance to get revenge for his defeat. In a duel of two Australians Zerafa stopped Horn in the ninth round. The bout took place in the middleweight. The rematch is scheduled for December 18 in Brisbane.
It is very likely that if Horn wins a in the second fight, he comes down to the light middleweight.
Zerafa perceived requirement of Horne to give him a rematch extremely negatively, so Michael couldn't get a tempting offer to fight against WBA middleweight champion Ryota Murata in Japan.
