Almost immediately after the victory of Vasyl Lomachenko (14-1, 10 KOs) over Luke Campbell promoter Bob Arum said that his client is likely to return to the ring in December. Today the name of a possible rival of Lomachenko appeared.

Lomachenko priority is meeting with the winner of the fight between Teofimo Lopez (14-0, 11 KOs) and  Richard Commey (29-2, 26 KOs) for the IBF lightweight belt. Vasiliy has three other titles in this weight category. But Lopez and Commey are meeting only on December 14. And before Lomachenko could spend one more fight.

Currently, the most serious candidate for the encounter with one of the best P4P fighters in the world is George Kambosos Jr. (17-0, 10 KOs), undefeated 26-year-old Australian and a constant sparring partner of Manny Pacquiao.

"Other countries have a great desire to see Vasyl live. And I hope that he will again fight outside the United States. He is a world-class star and he's ready to fight in different countries, as Muhammad Ali did. And in the first months of the next year, I intend to offer him a meeting with the best in the pair of Commey vs Lopez. This guy from Australia, Kambosos Jr., is really good," said Bob Arum, the head of Top Rank.

"If the opportunity appears, I will certainly take up this challenge," Kambosos said. "Lomachenko now is the best P4P fighter, and I do not doubt it. To beat him, you need to have hunger, motivation and be ruthless in the ring. It would be a clash of "The Matrix" and "The Spartan warrior". Arum asked about this fight, and I welcome this idea with open arms," said Kambosos Jr.
