The final fight of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) tournament in the first cruiserweight division between Mairis Briedis (26-1, 19 KOs) and Yunier Dorticos (24-1, 22 KOs) will be held not earlier than this December. There will be three championship belts in 200 pounds at stake is this fight.
Earlier it was planned that the battle between the Latvian and the Cuban will take place in November, but the final bouts of the second season of WBSS are getting postponed. In mid-October the final in the super lightweights can take place, where Regis Prograis scratches gloves with Josh Taylor. At the beginning of November the finale is scheduled for the bantamweight title between Naoya Inoue and Nonito Donaire.
