Contrary to the previous reports, the former world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (34-2, 24 KOs) will not perform on the evening of boxing on July 12 in Saudi Arabia. The 39-year-old Russian could meet in this tournament with American Scott Alexander, but his plans changed.

Povetkin is now likely to return to the ring on July 27 in Arlington. It is still unknown who will be the opponent of Povetkin, for whom this will be the first performance after last year's defeat at the hands of Anthony Joshua.

The main event of the evening of boxing in Texas will be a unification bout in the super lightweight division between Maurice Hooker and Jose Ramirez. In the Arlington Murat Gassiev also debuts in the heavyweight division in the duel against Joey Dawejko.
