Former middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (39-1-1, 35 KOs) knocked Steve Rolls (19-1, 10 KOs) out in the fourth round  on DAZN boxing evening in New York. For boxers from Kazakhstan, it was a return to the ring after last year's defeat at the hands of Saul Alvarez.

The start of the fight was not easy for Golovkin, who began to miss surprisingly a lot of punches. However, Gennady punches were stronger and the Canadian began to gradually slow down the pace.

In the fourth round Rolls appeared to be hurt a few times, and after left hook fell on the floor. 35-year-old boxer listened to count to ten and suffered the first defeat of his professional career.

It is now expected that in September Golovkin will hold a third fight with Alvarez. For «GGG» this was the first performance under the guidance of a new coach Johnathon Banks.
