UFC matchmakers have already tried to organize a duel between Max and Frankie twice, and both times the battle was postponed due to injuries. For the first time the fight was about to take place at UFC 218, but Edgar got injured. The second attempt was made at UFC 222, but then Holloway got injured.
The 240th UFC event will be held on July 27 in Edmonton, Canada.
