Ferguson is likely to meet Cerrone at UFC 238

Former UFC interim champion Tony Ferguson is likely to hold his next bout against Donald Cerrone. According to ESPN, there is only one step left before the official announcement, although the contracts have not been signed yet. Everything goes to the fact that they will meet on June 8 at the UFC 238.

Earlier, Ferguson has already announced that he is returning. The last time he performed in October 2018, when beat Anthony Pettis by technical knockout at UFC 229. After that, Tony had a long layoff. His wife reported that Ferguson had serious mental problems, she even called the police. After that, the UFC president announced that Tony would be allowed to fight only after being examined by the organization’s doctors.

Cerrone recently defeated Al Iaquinta in a spectacular battle.
