Adonis Stevenson's promoter spoke about the health of his boxer

Yvon Michel, the promoter of the former WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson, spoke about his fighter's health, which continues to recover from severe brain injury.

“I communicated with Adonis just as it was before the injury. He is on his way. He eats well and spends weekends at home. I was told that he still has a lot to progress, but Stevenson is recovering very well. This also applies to memory and physical component. He does everything well,” said Michel.

On December 1 Stevenson lost to Oleksander Gvozdyk. After the fight, Adonis was hospitalized. At the hospital, he was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage and put into a medically induced coma, in which he stayed for about three weeks.
