Yvon Michel, the promoter of the former WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson, spoke about his fighter's health, which continues to recover from severe brain injury.

ā€œI communicated with Adonis just as it was before the injury. He is on his way. He eats well and spends weekends at home. I was told that he still has a lot to progress, but Stevenson is recovering very well. This also applies to memory and physical component. He does everything well,ā€ said Michel.

On December 1 Stevenson lost to Oleksander Gvozdyk. After the fight, Adonis was hospitalized. At the hospital, he was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage and put into a medically induced coma, in which he stayed for about three weeks.
