Prograis takes the title from Relikh

In the semi-finals of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS), which was held in Lafayette, Louisiana, undefeated super-lightweight Regis Prograis (24-0, 20 KOs) scored a technical knockout victory in the sixth round over Kiryl Relikh (23-3, 19 KOs) and took away his WBA title.

Already at the end of the first round Relikh had been on the floor from a punch to the body, and in the second round he received a cut on the bridge of his nose. The only good moment for Relikh was the episode when he was able to visibly hurt Prograis with a punch after the bell for a break at the end of the second round. After that, Prograis continued to dominate in the ring, until finally, in the sixth round, Relikh’s corner asked to stop the fight at 1:36.
