The top UFC bantamweight Peter Yan stated that he does not consider his star compatriot Khabib Nurmagomedov a spectacular fighter.
“Abroad, many people learned about Khabib thanks to Conor McGregor, who promoted their fight. Yes, Nurmagomedov responsibly approached this fight and won, and after such a victory he can afford more challenging behavior,” said Yan.
“As for his fighting style, he has been acting in a similar style for many years. I do not think Nurmagomedov is spectacular, the leadership of the UFC has the same opinion. He competently uses his strengths, and the winners, as they say, are not judged. But punchers are much more interesting to watch,” Yan said.
