Shtyrkov signs with UFC

The fighter of the club "Archangel Michael" Ivan Shtyrkov (15-0-1) has signed a contract for four fights with the UFC. It is planned that he will fight in the light heavyweight division. The date of the UFC debut and the name of his opponent are not yet known. Ivan’s career development at the UFC will be handled by Sayat Abdrakhmanov, who also works with Peter Yan (12-1) and Alexey Kunchenko (20-0).

Shtyrkov fought last time at the RCC5 tournament in Yekaterinburg, Russia, and scored a stoppage victory with a painful hold on hand over Tiago Silva. Now the Russian fighter is on the 17th line in the world ranking of the light heavyweight category.
