WBC names contenders for Gvozdyk

The World Boxing Council announced that Badou Jack vs Marcus Browne will be fighting for the position of the official challenger for the WBC light heavyweight belt, owned by Oleksandr Gvozdyk (16-0, 13 KOs): “Winner of Badou Jack vs Marcus Browne will be mandatory against Oleksandr Gvozdyk”.

Thus, Gvozdyk received the contenders for his mandatory defense after winning the title of world champion in the fight against Adonis Stevenson (29-2-1, 24 KOs). Jack will meet Brown on January 19 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Arena.
