Lomachenko to fight in summer in the UK

Bob Arum, promoter of WBA and WBO lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko, said that the Ukrainian will fight Anthony Crolla in the UK. However, this fight will not be next for Lomachenko. According to Arum, on April 12 in Los Angeles, Vasyl will meet the IBF lightweight champion. IBF lightweight belt is vacant now. On February 2 Richard Commey and Isa Chaniev will challenge it.

“On February 2 Commey and Chaniev are fighting for the vacant IBF lightweight title. They both signed for a fight with Lomachenko in April. If everything works out, this will be his next fight. In the summer I would like to bring Lomachenko to London and organize his fight against Crolla. I know that Lomachenko wants to fight in the UK", said Arum.

Crolla was the WBA world champion, but lost his title in a fight against Jorge Linares. He also lost to him in a rematch. In total, 32-year-old Crolla has 43 fights as a pro - 34 wins (13 by KO), 6 losses and 3 draws.
