Davis envies Lomachenko, accuses fans of racism

One of the most talented fighters of the young generation, WBA super featherweight champion Gervonta Davis (20-0, 19 KOs) accused his fans of racism. Undoubtedly, Floyd Mayweather's protégée does not like the popularity Vasyl Lomachenko has recently gained.

"I wonder whether if I had a record of 12-1 and fought the same rivals as Lomachenko did, I would be the leader of the P4P rankings? Floyd put it best - if he was of another race he would be much more popular and appreciated," 24-year-old American wrote on Twitter.

Gervonta Davis will return on the 9th February at Showtime in Carson and will face the former champion in three weight categories Abner Mares (31-3-1, 15 KOs).
