Vasiliy Lomachenko (12-1, 9 KOs) scored a twelve round unanimous decision to take the belt of Jose Pedraza (25-2, 12 KOs) in a lightweight unification clash on Saturday night at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Pedraza fought like a champion, but Lomachenko was a superstar as he methodically unlocked the Puerto Rican's high-volume and angular attack, then surged in the championship rounds to capture the dominant unanimous decision and become a two-belt 135-pound titlist.
