UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will miss the meeting of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), which will deal with a scuffle after the fight between Nurmagomedov and Conor MacGregor.

Nurmagomedov defended his UFC lightweight champion's belt on October, defeating McGregor with a choke in the fourth round. After the fight in Las Vegas, the 30-year-old Russian provoked a mass brawl in the audience hall. Both fighters were suspended from fights until December 10, when a commission meeting should be held. Earlier it became known that the 30-year-old Irish fighter asked to postpone the consideration of his case, and the organization approved his request.

ā€œThere is still an option to reach an agreement with Nurmagomedov before Monday,ā€ said NSAC Executive Director Bob Bennett. ā€œIn case the agreement is not reached, Nurmagomedovā€™s lawyers requested a postponement of the case until the next meeting of the commission on January 29.ā€
