UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will miss the meeting of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), which will deal with a scuffle after the fight between Nurmagomedov and Conor MacGregor.

Nurmagomedov defended his UFC lightweight champion's belt on October, defeating McGregor with a choke in the fourth round. After the fight in Las Vegas, the 30-year-old Russian provoked a mass brawl in the audience hall. Both fighters were suspended from fights until December 10, when a commission meeting should be held. Earlier it became known that the 30-year-old Irish fighter asked to postpone the consideration of his case, and the organization approved his request.

“There is still an option to reach an agreement with Nurmagomedov before Monday,” said NSAC Executive Director Bob Bennett. “In case the agreement is not reached, Nurmagomedov’s lawyers requested a postponement of the case until the next meeting of the commission on January 29.”
