Lomachenko: I am happy when I raise the Ukrainian flag after the fight

WBA Lightweight Champion Vasyl Lomachenko (11-1, 9 KOs) on the eve of his fight against Jose Pedraza (25-1, 12 KOs) confessed in love for his homeland: “I am proud to have been born in Ukraine. I am happy when after the fight I raise the Ukrainian flag and show everyone that I am Ukrainian. I am from Ukraine and I am proud of it,” Lomachenko said.

“This is the land of my parents, they gave me life, they gave me a chance to become a great athlete. This land has raised me,” Lomachenko said.
