Lobov returns money to Johnson for the extra weight

The Russian-Irish UFC featherweight Artem Lobov returned 20% of his purse to Michael Johnson, which were sent to his account because of the weight advantage.

“They need to earn my respect. I take off my hat before Artem Lobov. He not only gave me a hard fight, but also turned out to be a man of his word,” wrote Johnson on his Twitter.

Johnson defeated Lobov by unanimous decision on October 27 at the UFC Fight Night 138 tournament. Before the fight Artem noted that he would not take 20% of his opponent's purse in case of failure at the weigh-in, since Johnson took the fight on a short notice. Michael, in turn, promised to make weight, but failed.
