Postol returns with the win on the undercard of the WBSS quarter-finals

Former WBC junior welterweight champion Viktor Postol of Ukraine successfully returned after the defeat to Josh Taylor in June. Postol returned to the ring on the undercard of the World Boxing Super Series quarterfinals, where he is listed as a substitute, and defeated his opponent from Turkey, Ciara Ozgul. Referee gave the victory to Postol 99:91.

In the main event of the evening, Josh Taylor knocked out American Ryan Martin in the seventh round, defended his WBC Silver junior welterweight title and advanced to the WBSS semifinal.
