Former WBC super lightweight champion Viktor Postol (29-2, 12 KOs) will hold the second consecutive bout in Glasgow (Scotland) at the SSE Hydro arena. In June 2018 "The Iceman" gave an excellent fight to promising Josh Taylor (13-0, 11 KOs), and on November 3 he will perform on his undercard.
Postol will be the “substitute” boxer of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS). He will face off an unknown boxer from Turkey Ciar Ozgul (14-1, 3 KOs), who has filled himself a good record on hopeless jogs. Taylor, in the WBSS quarter finals, is facing an American prospect Ryan Martin (22-0, 12 KOs).
A substitute fighter was also identified in the bantamweight division. This is the former world champion Paul Butler (26-2, 14 KOs) from the UK. He will have to fight the former contender for the title Joan Boyo (41-5, 26 KOs) from France. Butler may "substitute" the participants of the quarter-finals, the fight for the WBA Super title between the champion Ryan Barnett (19-0, 9 KOs) from Britain and legendary Philippine veteran Nonito Donaire (38-5, 24 KOs).
