Derevyanchenko completes preparations for the fight with Jacobs

Ukrainian middleweight Sergei Derevyanchenko (12-0, 10 KOs) completed preparations for the fight with Daniel Jacobs (34-2, 29 KOs) for the vacant IBF champion belt. Derevyanchenko spent the last sparring in Brooklyn, New York and said he was ready to fight.

Derevyanchenko vs Jacobs will be on October 27 in New York at the Madison Square Garden Theater. At stake in the fight will be the IBF belt, which became vacant after the failure of Gennady Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KOs) to conduct mandatory defence against Derevyanchenko.
