Nurmagomedov will continue fighting for UFC after the statement about Tukhugov

Khabib Nurmagomedov will continue to cooperate with UFC after he announced his withdrawal in case of termination of the contract with Zubayra Tukhugov. This was announced by the head of UFC Dana White.

On of October 6 Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor with a choke in the fourth round and defended his UFC lightweight title. Denis, who had offended Nurmagomedov, provoking a brawl, both in the auditorium and in the Octagon. Tukhugov also took part in it, after which his fight with Artem Lobov was canceled and he was threatened with termination of the contract. Nurmagomedov stood up for his compatriot and announced his resignation from the organization in the event of this outcome.

“He was a little upset, but we discussed everything with our heads clean,” said White. “Khabib is an emotional man, and his fights are the same. He’s a great guy, we always had good relations. Khabib will remain in UFC, but I can't speak about it with complete confidence."

Nurmagomedov was fighting for UFC since 2012. Victory over McGregor was the 11th for the Russian in the tournaments under the organization. In total, he has 27 fights by MMA rules and no losses.
