Dalakian may have a voluntary title defense before the year’s end

Dmitry Eliseev, promoter of the WBA flyweight champion Artem Dalakian (17-0, 12 KO) said on his Facebook page that his fighter can have a voluntary title defense at the end of this year:

“The management of Union Boxing Рromotion is actively negotiating with the candidates for the WBA world title. The representatives of Japan, the Dominican Republic and Thailand can become rivals of Artem Dalakian. According to the preliminary information we have, the fight will take place at the end of this year. The time and place of the battle will be announced shortly. It is worth noting that this will be a voluntary defense,” said Eliseev.
