Lobov asks UFC not to cancel his fight with Tukhugov

Russian MMA figher Artem Lobov turned to the head of the UFC Dana White with a request not to cancel his fight with compatriot Zubaira Tukhugov. Lobov wrote this on his Twitter: “Dana dont let Tukhugov escape his punishment, put him back in!”

Tukhugov - Lobov fight was scheduled for October 27 in Canada. After the fight between Nurmagomedov and McGregor at the UFC 229 tournament in Las Vegas riots occurred with the participation of teams of both fighters. Lobov, a member of the McGregor team, was present at this tournament, but was in the hall. Tukhugov was in the corner of Nurmagomedov and took part in a mass brawl.

After the incident White said on the press conference that if there were athletes with UFC contracts among those involved in the fight, they would not take part in battles under the banner of the organization.

Lobov has 13 victories and 14 defeats in MMA. Tukhugov has 18 wins and 4 losses. The fight with Lobov had to be the first for an athlete after two years of disqualification.
