Ryabinsky: Povetkin undergoes a rigorous doping control procedure, his tests are clean

Russian boxer Alexander Povetkin undergoes a tough procedure of doping control before the fight with Anthony Joshua, Russian tests show negative results. This was stated by the head of the company "World of Boxing" Andrei Ryabinsky.

"Everything is OK. The results of [doping tests] come regularly, everything is clean," Ryabinsky said.

Povetkin vs Joshua fight will be on September 22 in London. At the stake of the fight there will be the titles of the world champion by versions of the World Boxing Association (WBA, with the prefix "super"), the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF) in the heavyweight division. Povetkin is a mandatory challenger for the WBA title, in the rating of the Association the Russian occupies the first place.
