Russian UFC heavyweight Alexey Oleynik does not consider the fight with the New Zealander Mark Hunt as the most important fight in his career. The meeting of these fighters will take place on September 15 at the tournament in Moscow.

"This is a great top battle, but absolutely not the pinnacle of my career. I do not understand why this should be the most important and unreal battle in my life. I have significant fights for me. The victory at the world championship in combat sambo is no less significant, the fight with Mirko Cro Cop was, I think, although tough. Then a lot of factors were against me. Plus he's a legendary fighter. And those storytellers who said that he was an over the hill fighter... He got many victories after me.

“All my victories were stoppages. If to watch from the side, then I'm not the worst part of the UFC. I do not want to think about the title fight. After all, as soon as I start thinking, something immediately comes across my path. I do not want to think about this and argue about it," Oleynik said.
