Nurmagomedov: I will not allow UFC and Conor to make money on my name

Undefeated Russian UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov said that he would agree to fight the Irish superstar Conor McGregor only if he was offered a serious purse.

"An interesting situation. If they want to organize a money fight, then they will have to pay me well. I will not let them use my name, and Conor and the UFC will make big money if I get paid only $200,000. This will not happen.

“If they want me to fight for the purse specified in my contract - excellent. But in that case, give me Dustin Poirier. I will adhere to contractual obligations. But if they want to use my name and make big money – this will not happen.

“I hope that this fight will be arranged, because I want to change the face of this guy. I really want to meet him inside the cage - just me and him. I will destroy him, but not in the first round. I want to teach him modesty.

What happens if I meet him on the street in New York? A brawl. Without money. I never lost in street battles," Nurmagomedov said.
