Povetkin: In the place of Joshua I would not hurry with loud statements

Alexander Povetkin advised the unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua not to hurry up with statements regarding the outcome of their meeting. The fight between Povetkin and Joshua will take place on September 22 at London's Wembley Stadium in the UK.

On Tuesday, the Briton in an interview to ESPN said that he does not focus his attention on the fight with the Russian and is more waiting for the fight with Deontay Wilder. Also, Joshua noticed that he will "stepp through” Povetkin.

"During my career, I often came across similar statements before my fights, I would not hurry at Joshua's place," Povetkin said.
