Ukrainian welterweight Taras Shelestyuk (16-0, 10 KOs) shared his expectations from the upcoming WBSS final between the WBC and WBO cruiserweight champion Alexander Usyk (14-0, 11 KOs) and WBA and IBF title holder Murat Gassiev ( 26-0, 19 KOs).
"I think that for a boxer of Usyk’s level, it doesn’t matter where to box. Alexander has a huge experience of successful performances at the international arenas. The ring is the same everywhere. Of course, I will support my teammate and I believe in Alexander's victory. The one who will be better prepared physically, tactically and psychologically on the day of battle wins.
“This is a fight that everyone is waiting for. Styles make fights and I hope that the refereeing will be at the highest level and the strongest will win," Shelestyuk said.
