Miocic is happy with the purse for Cormier fight

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic admitted that he was pleased with the purse specified in the contract for the fight with the owner of the title in the light heavyweight division Daniel Cormier.

"We discussed this with Dana, everything was great. 100 percent, this is the biggest purse in my career,"- said Miocic.

One of the things that Miocic does not see for himself in the near future is the fight at Madison Square Garden. While most fighters dream of fighting at the legendary New York arena, Stipe does not want to leave this place with an impressive portion of his purse due to taxes.

"A lot of taxes. Too many taxes," explained Miocic.

Miocic - Cormier fight will take place this weekend, on July 7 in Las Vegas.
