Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor agreed to fight the owner of UFC lightweight belt Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov because he ran out of money. This opinion was expressed by the manager of Nurmagomedov Ali Abdelaziz.
"Conor ran out of money, so he agreed to fight Nurmagomedov," Abdelaziz said. "We are ready to help him make money, but for this he will pay with his defeat. He considers himself a gangster, but if you are a gangster, you are either sent to prison or get beaten."
Manager Nurmagomedova named three possible dates of the battle. The fight may take place on November 3 in New York, but Abdelaziz believes that McGregor will not be able to obtain a license in the state. Also fighters will be able to meet on October 6 at UFC 229 or on December 29 at UFC 232 in Las Vegas.
