In the main event of the evening in Glasgow, Scotland, local favorite Josh Taylor (13-0, 11 KOs) scored the most significant victory in his career to date, winning by unanimous decision over the former world champion Victor Postol (29-2, 12 KOs) from Ukraine. In the tenth round Postol was down after the left hook to the head. The scores were 118-110, 117-110 and 119-108.

Thus, Taylor became the official contender for the WBC super lightweight title, which is currently owned by Jose Ramirez.

It is worth noting that the fight was more competitive than the judges saw it.
