IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. (24-0, 21 KOs) successfully defended his title by scoring a quick body punch KO victory in the first round over previously undefeated official challenger Carlos Ocampo (22-1, 13 KOs). At the very end of the first round Spence landed two blows to the body that forced Ocampo to kneel on the canvas and listen as the referee scored to 10. The time was 2:59.
