Former heavyweight title challenger Kubrat Pulev is “95% confident” that his fight against Dillian Whyte will be held in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. This potential meeting may be the final eliminator for the title of IBF, which is currently owned by Anthony Joshua. The fight between Pulev and Whyte will most likely take place on August 18.

"I'm 95% sure that the meeting with Whyte will be in Bulgaria," said Pulev. ”It is very important for me that the Bulgarian fans are satisfied. Such an event here will certainly go down in history. It could be an incredible and inexpressible atmosphere. This fight could take place in the arena with the maximum capacity."

Last year, Pulev beat American Kevin Johnson in the presence of 15,000 spectators at the Armeets arena in Sofia. The fight against Whyte, according to promoters, could easily gather 30 thousand spectators at the stadium "Vasil Levski".
