UFC featherweight champion Cris Justino said that she planned to transfer to boxing after the remaining two contract fights in the UFC. Cyborg was present at the last boxing evening in Carson, California, on May 5, at which the US channel HBO hosted a women's debut in which Cecilia Braekhus defeated Kali Riess. Cris said that she would gladly meet Cecilia in the ring on the rules of boxing.

"I need time for training. I think four or six months. It would be great, under the contract I had two fights in MMA, and then I can concentrate on boxing. I am pleased. After these two fights, I will have a boxing fight. Maybe I will return to the UFC, but not immediately. I want to use this vacation to do boxing, it's my dream," said Cris Justino.
