Bellew stops Haye in the fifth

In the main event of the evening at the London O2 arena in an extremely spectacular battle Tony Bellew (30-2-1, 20 KOs) scored a TKO victory in the fifth round over David Haye (28-4, 26 KOs), and again disgraced skeptics who preferred Haye before the fight, despite his loss in their first meeting 14 months ago.

In the middle of the third round, the opponents came into the exchange of blows, in which Haye clearly missed a blow and began to retreat to the ropes. Bellew began to chase him, locked him at the ropes and was able to land the left-right combination to his head, after which Haye went down. David was able to rise, but again missed the punch and again went down. Haye did not recover, but the bell sounded and David went to his corner.

In the fourth round, Bellew took a break, but already in the fifth round he chopped Haye with a beautiful left hook and David fell heavily to the floor. He was able to rise and continue the fight, but in the next episode he turned his back on the ropes, began to miss the blow after the blow and the referee in the ring Howard John Foster decided to intervene at 2:14. Overwhelmed Bellew took the referee's decision in tears.

37-year-old Haye, the former world champion in two weight classes, who made his pro debut in 2002, and before that had decorated career in the amateurs, obviously, needs to think about the ending of his career.

After the fight, Bellew said he was ready to meet any opponent: "It may be the P4P king Andre Ward, or Usyk, Gassiev - bring them all, I will beat everyone," Tony said.
