Jacobs beats Sulecki on points

In the main event of the evening at the legendary arena of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, former world champion Daniel Jacobs (34-2, 29 KOs) scored a difficult victory by unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Pole Maciej Sulecki (26- 1, 10 KOs). In the final twelfth round Sulecki was on the floor and lost with a score of 116-111, 117-110 and 115-112. As a result of the fight, Jacobs became the official contender for the WBA middleweight title.
