Dos Santos wants to fight Volkov

Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos, who recently got the right to return to the cage, named his most desired opponents.

"I had planned a fight before these events, Ngannou had to be my opponent. This was an excellent option but at the moment he already had a rival. I would gladly have fought with Overeem if he wins his next fight, but I do not think he will want a rematch with me. Werdum also does not respond to my challenge.

"Volkov recently defeated Werdum, he scored great turns and now he is without an opponent, so this is the best option. I know that he is aiming for a title fight, but I would like to meet him in the octagon and show what it is.

"Now I'm training and I'm going to negotiate with the UFC regarding the date of the battle and the name of my next opponent. Give me two months, and I will return to the cage", said Dos Santos.
