UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov does not exclude that Conor McGregor's attack on the bus before UFC 223 tournament could be a planned action that occurred with the consent of the company's president Dana White.
"Everything is possible. I was locked inside the bus and was not let out of it, and McGregor was not let inside by the guards. It was a circus. I'm not used to such things. Where I grew up, we decided things differently. A few days before that, I had approached the members of Conor's team and said that if they wanted to tell me something, then it had to be done in person. Then they talked a little bit different, and then all this show happened.
"What should be done to organize our fight? It doesn't need anything. I am a champion in this weight division, and now there are neither interim, nor other champions who do not defend their titles for two years. I'm here to defend my belt. I will start heavy training after Ramadan, and so we'll see what decision UFC will take," Nurmagomedov said in an interview to Match TV.
