WBO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko named the strengths of his closest rival Jorge Linares, and also responded to the words of a Venezuelan who, in one of his last interviews, advised to bethouses on his victory.
- How do you assess your opponent? What does he do well, and what does he do poor?
- I will not talk about what he does poor. I will say about his strengths. He moves perfectly, he feels the distance well, throws a lot of punches, he is fast. In principle, he had a powerful punch. He is clever. He is a high class fighter.
- In his recent interview Linares said that while he was physically and mentally healthy, people could bet houses on him.
- Really? He can leave many people homeless. If he is so sure, I offer him a bet: let him put on his win 100 thousand dollars, and I will put 100 thousand on myself. Who will win will take 200 thousand. I'm ready to bet 200 thousand, or 300 thousand, but I know that he has a large team and most of the fee will not go to his account. I'm ready to bet all the purse, but I doubt that he will do it.
