Briedis will be the co-feature and substitute for the WBSS Cruiserweight Final

According to Kalle Sauerland, one of the organizers of World Boxing Super Series, former cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis will perform on the undercard of the tournament on May 11 in Saudi Arabia and in case of injury to one of the finalists, Oleksandr Usyk or Murat Gassiev, will be a substitute. Usyk and Gassiev meeting will have four championship titles and the Muhammad Ali Cup at stake.
