UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway once again made it clear that his transition to a heavier weight category is just a matter of time.
"Everyone is talking about my second fight against Conor McGregor, but for some reason no one talks about Khabib Nurmagomedov. I need Khabib. To become the best, you have to fight the best, and Khabib is just one of these fighters. Many people remember Tony Ferguson. I remember that he talked about moving to featherweights, but they all stay in their division. I myself will go up in lightweight, so that there are no excuses. I'm a big guy and I can do it.
"I am a self-educated person, I am a Gavian, I am a Polynesian. I really love to eat. All you have to know is that I love cakes. I'll gain a lot, and then we'll see what happens. No one can stay calm, because I am ready to do it. For sure, everyone is now wondering how I will stand up against Khabib's takedowns, but I have an idea. You just have to wait and see it with your own eyes," Holloway said.
