Valdez beats Quigg and defends his title

In the main event of the evening in Carson, California, WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez (24-0, 19 KOs) scored a difficult unanimous decision over the former super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg (34-2-2, 25 KOs), and defended his title.
