Golovkin's promoter: We will wait for other doping tests of Alvarez

Promoter of unified middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin Tom Loeffler commented on the positive testing of Mexican Saul Alvarez on the eve of their boxing match scheduled for May 5.

"Gennady continues to prepare for the fight with Alvarez, and nothing will change in the program unless we learn something important from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Gennady and his team always supported clean fights, so we'll wait for other doping tests of Saul, and then we will make a decision based on the results of the tests," explained Loeffler.
