The current UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway ridiculed the recent interview of Artem Lobov, who confirmed the statement of Conor McGregor about the readiness to replace injured Holloway in the main event of the UFC 222.

Lobov claimed that McGregor was ready to start training camp for the duel, but the only condition for the Irish superstar was the title fight against Frankie Edgar in a new, as yet non-existent, 165-pound division.

"After I withdrew from the UFC 222, I proposed to amputate my leg and fight with Demetrius Johnson for the championship belt in 115 pounds. It was very, very close to the agreement. But I was told that time is not enough. Be blessed. The champion who defends the title," Holloway wrote on Twitter.
