The legendary Brazilian MMA fighter Anderson Silva hopes for a positive outcome in the case of his failed doping test, after which he expects to meet Roy Jones in the ring.
"Perhaps my sports nutrition was spoiled. I dont know. Now I'm waiting. You have to be a complete fool to take illegal drugs in my position. I'm too old for a fighter and my career is already down the hill. I'm just waiting for the decision of USADA and I'm waiting for my lawyers. I hope they can do something and I'll have a boxing match with Roy Jones.
"Many people are now discussing my legacy, but nutritional supplements are a very complex topic, it's easy to talk to doctors only. An athlete sometimes has to use a variety of supplements, because the rules are not that simple. They are constantly changing," Silva said.
