Mixed martial arts veteran Mark Hunt reacted sharply to the statement of UFC boss Dana White that former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar could return for one fight.

"Rumors about the possible return of Lesnar clearly demonstrate how much UFC can be trusted. It all comes down to money, and fighters are completely indifferent. At the same time, they say that I need to undergo an in-depth examination, since they care for me. Was this all a lie? For sure.

"In the end, we set a bad example not only for children, but for performing athletes also. This is a sport of respect and honor, so it's necessary to behave with dignity, and not to choose the shortest way to the top for the sake of making money. It's pathetic," Hunt said.
