Ukrainian amateur boxer Oleksandr Khyzhniak, who competes in 75 kg weight category and won the world championship gold in 2017, in an interview to Sport Express said that at the moment he is completely focused on the prospects of the Olympics 2020 and does not consider transition to pros.

"I'm not going to go to the pros. I do not consider pro boxing now. This topic is now closed to me. I'm happy to represent Ukraine in an amateurs and bring rewards to my country. My goal is the Olympics-2020. I do not raise the issue of pros now and see no sense in this. If in the future I will be receiving such a support to compete in amateurs, then I will stay in it for the next Games," said 22-year-old Khyzhniak.
